I have purchased and installed Farming Simulator 17 but cannot get my Xbox360 controller to work.
I am running windows 7 and have all updates.
Any help would be much appreciated

You've got a lot of mods with errors, I recommend deleting them. Now to the controller. In settings, make sure the option for allowing gamepads or controllers is on. The game is recognizing them. It should be in the main menu settings

Have deleted all mods with errors and made sure that allowing gamepads is on.
The green bar in the menu continually flashes up and down and when I eventually get into quick guide it moves in reverse and does not recognize the gamepad controls

Try going into the controls and changing which axis is navigating the menu. I believe it is menu focus up, menu focus down, left, and right.
