Help Installing Platinum Edition

I successfully purchased the platinum add-on for Windows and downloaded five files.

I was able to run the following file to reinstall the game: FarmingSimulator2017ESD_withPatch1.5.3

I don't know what to do with the following files:

FarmingSimulator17_platinumEdition_v1.1.0, "This app cannot run on your pc"

FarmingSimulator17_platinumEdition_v1.1.0.exe.part, "How do you want to open this file?"

FS17ExclusiveInsightModdingTuts3_EN, "This app can't run on your pc"

FS17ExclusiveInsightModdingTuts3_EN.exe.part, "How do you want to open this file?"

Hello and welcome to the forum!

That you are seeing files with the extension ‚.part‘ indicates that the download hasn‘t finished. If there is no data transfer happening anymore than the download got interrupted and you have to start it again.

Okay I see in the history that the downloads failed.

I've tried three more times and the downloads keep failing. It gets to right at 100% complete, then stops, says "A few more seconds...", then fails.

Any advice?

Maybe you could try the downloads with a different Browser. Also make sure you're not using any kind of download manager.

Estancia Lapacho is a beautiful map. But I've decided to try Oakfield Farm next. I've been playing Sosnovka since December.
