How and what to edit in binding files

Hello everyone,
So Support recommended editing my inputbindings.xml files to stop my pedals from interacting with the menus. I found the file and tried to decipher the right edits, but frankly I have no idea what I'm looking at. I do not even know what to change to turn a command "off." Can anyone point me to a resource so I can get some insight on what I'm looking at? An example of what I need to change would be awesome if anyone knows off the top of their head.

Try selecting "combined pedals" in the fanatec driver ,if you havn't already.

I found the issue. the clutch pedal is registering a key press when fully released and goes the other way when fully depressed. When it is in the middle it has no input. So now I am trying to figure out how to turn the clutch off or make it so fully released has no input.
