problems with installing on mac

i have always played fs17 on my windows computer. now I have a mac so I have bought FS 17 again. now when installing, however, he puts this game as an app so I can no longer use my favorite mods.

how can I solve this?

Using mods is still possible with the macOS version of the game. Please have a look at the following post containing some tips for installing mods, some of them are specific to the macOS version of the game: viewtopic.php?f=895&t=102821#p791562

This is usually the tricky part on a mac ... (when the mod folder is hidden by default).
