(XB1) "Server Connection Lost" approximately every 25 minutes?

Hi guys,

Hoping someone can help me with an Xbox One issue. I'm hosting a Lossberg map with a friend if mine, only it keeps losing connection every 25-30 minutes roughly? It boots us back to the main screen and we have to reset.

Both of us are running pretty decent internet speeds (minimum 45mbps download) with no drop outs, both with open NAT types. Both of us have hard rest our consoles and reset our routers in an atrempt to get things running smooth, but to no avail.

I've read something about port forwarding, though I have no idea how that works or how to do it!

I had a similar problem years ago playing COD and despite everything it was the router. You could try giving your Xbox a static IP address ( google it) also when a my router disconnects I was told it is searching for a better and faster connection (by a BT engineer) I’m in the U.K. BTW and on PS4 ...so I wouldn’t keep resetting it. Google will be your best friend with this and trust me if I can do it you certainly can! Not much help but I’ve tried

I was the king with portforwarding problems and such with COD4 on PS3 haha.

Thinking about it maybe it was with my ps3...black ops 2 I think. I just remember it being a nightmare one xmas

I had that problem as well for awhile and it was closer to about every 10min. My friends and i found that servers that took less time to sync were more stable. The ones that took up to a min or more verses 10 to 15 seconds seemed more prone to disconnection.

I do not realy feel I need to make a new thread.. but I'm having the same issue.. I am unable to play a career or multiplayer game on the xbox one console without getting the connection lost message every 20 minutes.
I.have tried portforwarding and even put my console in the dmz..

You don't need a connection to do career so shouldn't be getting that error on a single career game.

My friend and i only get this message on multiplayer, not on career like the op
