I read somewhere that consoles are running the game at 30 FPS ...
In the past I captured and edited some video captures from a drone.
To get a "move like feeling" I ran the shutter at a low setting.
I think it was 25 FPS or something like that.
There is a lot of discussion on the web regarding this matter ... some wants a super crisp image with as many FPS as possible while others want the traditional (old school) look.
For FS17 I have my FPS locked at 60FPS.
Actually I am running my screen on 59Hz which for some reason eliminates almost all "stuttering" and gives me a super smooth gaming experience. 59 Hz is the lowest possible setting on my screen.
Some say the game is playable down to 30FPS ... but for me, I notice all those small twitches on my screen caused by the sudden changes in FPS.
It does not matter if they are from 144 Hz to 90 Hz I still notice them and get annoyed.
I do not consider this to be lag ...
Now ... if there was a way to lock the game at 30FPS, maybe that would be a "different story"?
I am curious as to how the game would look at a lower FPS.
Is there a way for me to try this on a PC, or is that "setting" buried deep inside the game or "hard wired" to the game engine?

you can try Vertical Sync Adaptive(half) in the nVidia Control Center: https://www.geforce.com/hardware/techno ... technology
Re: 60 FPS / 30FPS
Thank you for the link ... I will try this ...
However ... I am currently having no issues with the stuttering with my screen set to 59Hz (the in game FPS indicator is basically rock solid at 60 FPS) but it would be nice to be able to crank this setting up without getting the stuttering!
Setting my screen to 60 Hz makes the game stutter (even if it is only pending between 58-60 Hz I notice the stutter).
I am more curious about how the game looks and perform locked at 30 FPS ... and if there is a way to achieve this.

Re: 60 FPS / 30FPS
Awesome ... thanks!
30 FPS looks jerky and I get why GIANTS limited the panning of the camera on consoles if they are running on 30FPS.
Now I can stop thinking about this (not going to use 30 FPS) ...
