Forum break.

Post by PoggleBox »

I'm enjoying the game, faults and all. I was enjoying the forum for a while. I'm taking a break for now because of the incessant whinging and whining on here. Same topics over and over again. Complaints about trivial stuff. Begging for Mods and maps. It's depressing. I'll be back when it all calms down.

Just out of curiosity, what else would you expect to see in a forum?
When people are upset about something they don't like, they whine about it.
If the issues are not solved by the developer, it is inevitable for the same topics to pop over and over again.
Complaints are a natural part of something done by someone and used by others. You can't prevent that.
FS is a sandbox game and the only thing that keeps it going is the mods. So, people will always request new mods.
And finally, nothing has ever been calm in this forum and will never be calm anytime soon.
So, my humble suggestion is just stay and try to get used to it.
For sometime now, I use the forum just to seek information.
That way, I both find what I need and I don't get upset or depressed by people's behaviours.

It was never like that when I joined when fs13 was out. A lot of members who joined when fs17 was out didn't know the forum was A lot different

I think thats because FS17 was the hit for FS series and more people joined the forum with it.
When any place gets crowded, you get problems.
