ideas for fs19

(Warning! This is just a theory of what would be the next Farming Simulator?)

Now that I am more familiar with the features of the game, so I already have in my mind, what could be the Farming Simulator 2019-20?

This would be the game's features, that would be greatly developed in the game are the possible/probable.
3 times larger maps. (The surface area of the current game: 400ha for an upcoming game 1200ha)

3 new maps (The first represents the North American map, the second represents the Central of Europe map and the third represents the South China Sea archipelago.

Up to 300-350 different vehicles and tools for 80 different Brands. (Which will for the first time, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles, snow plows and snow blowers, bikes and even boats.)

The player is now able to grow grapes, apples, cherries, pineapples, strawberries, rice, carrots, onions, White onions, peas, radishes, cucumbers, spinach cottons, bamboo, jute and flax

4 new agricultural animals such as the horse, (when he has the opportunity to take care of the horses, and even a ride), goat, duck, and even a bull.

For the first time in the forest animals (such as deer, hares, foxes, moose, bears, wolves, and many different kinds of birds) moves/flies in Woods and fields, they even react to the player's presence and sounds by fleeing from the scene.

The player can now affect the clothing, buying clothes and dressing up for the weather and the seasons

Now, for the first time, the player is forced to pay attention to the Avatar Needs, such as hunger, thirst, physical condition, hygiene and bed rest.

For the first time, the player can choose to enjoy nature, in which case he can observe the movements of the animals and even to hunt for them, when it is first purchased a suitable hunting rifle.

In addition, the player can now spend time in the city, playing mini-games (such as Pinball, billiards, darts, card games and slot machine games,) eat in the restaurant, go to the gym and have a chat with the locals.

The player is now more hand tools in use, (chainsaw and pressure washer) than ever before, he is now using a shovel, Pitchfork, rake, axe, a saw, a hoe, a wheelbarrow, mower and line cutter and leaf blower

The player can now be purchased in addition to the fields, including whole farm plots (including fields) and he has the flexibility to change the sites, including the farmhouse and enclosures to your liking.

The game is now more separate shops so vehicles than the tools. (Brand specific). Seeds/seedlings, fertilizers and other garden tools, is now to buy in the future, Garden stores, feed (such as hay, straw, grass and silage) from other farms and building supplies, hardware stores. The player can, however, move to the "store mode" where all categories are in one mode, where you can now choose whether or not the player purchased/rented space product "home delivery" (which will incur an additional fee) or whether they want to apply for it yourself.

Bills and salaries can now choose to pay manually on the computer or in the Bank, and if they are not paid by a specific time, as distraint takes (first) expensive machinery or tools, to pay off debts and, if necessary, up to of arable land or plot.

The seasons and the weather patterns are a more important role. When you will be in the winter, so the country cannot, of course, to be cultivated, until spring, when the now the player can plow snow and earn this money.

Now, the success of which could affect the crop pests can fend off such crops as natural methods. (such as a Ladybug's)

the vehicles manual maintenance is now possible and, if necessary, they will be able to tow.

Improved transport system.

Individually controlled "Helper system," which helped movement can be adjusted so that it moves in the desired way, without crashing into obstacles or get stuck.
It may be that all of this can be achieved, but it is a safe bet that when the next Farming simulator will be published, so it is more advanced.

That's the problem with something like this. It's one persons view..... now multiply that by one million plus people who play this game and you can just imagine what Giants is up against. I can tell you one thing for sure, this being rated for everyone I don't think anyone will be hunting or shooting anything. In my opinion the game will evolve as it should....personally I just want to spend the free time that I have farming. I don't want to be worried about my clothes or eating or playing billiards.

There is no way I want a farming game that has aspects of a survival game built into it. Having to take care of a hunger bar in the middle of my combining would be about the worst thing I could think of adding to this game!

Improved helper control, something like autocombine type approach that's easy to operate (this game is for all ages remember) but is able to turn corners and deal with enclosed fields would be wonderful

I love the idea of a much larger selection of crops, with specialised machinery for harvesting it. Also the extra animals would be interesting, although I'm not sure how smaller systems would cope with the extra animals in the maps.

Optional larger maps, so a default one the size we have now as well as a 4x one so players can choose. Some hate larger maps, some hate smaller maps.

The only thing I'd like to see added to the player character, is the ability to do the gardening at home. Being able to take care of our own vegetable patch with hand tools for a small amount of extra income as a sideline that's also realistically what a number of farmers actually do would be very nice. Not game breaking though and can't see that it would be worth the time and effort for Giants to implement such a thing.

Testing before it's released! And some decent official partners preferably ones who'll play the game and not spend there time smashing combines with trains

AI Thats works properly, Something like Autocombine in THE game. AI that works, Proper testing before release and before release of patches, Working AI that doesn't need a ten mile radius to turn round in, More crops like Carrots, Swede, Onions. AI that doesn't run over crops, AI that can go around the headlands first or last depending on task ( I know I am asking far to much for the AI to be realistic), AI that doesn't need huge grass borders to turn round on.

How's that for a Start Giant's.......Think you can pull your fingers out and program the AI better for 19.

Growing grapes for wine or grain for brew would be cool

Fruit and nut trees

Thought coal or strip mining would be neat

Maybe crop dusting if maps are bigger and they add pests - also gives player chance to sell organic and non organic

The terrain needs complete redo. With trees and vegetation along with the terrain of games like Witcher 3, Farm Sim 17 feels more like playstation 2 quality.

They need to redo it and use more of a game engine like bF1 is doing with real scanned rocks and terrain for realism.

Currently there isn't much in commerce other than "hey this spot on map is paying more". Be cooler to make this a bit more complex and rewarding.

Throw in Hail damage and Tornadoes from time to time (or crop circles ha ha)

Adding all these suggestions in would mean that FS19 would be for PC only because there is no way console will handle it.
Playing on PS4 and PC.

Dynamic terrain. Have slews or ponds in fields that get bigger when it rains and you have to ditch or drain tile to maximize your farmable acres. I would like to be able to cut down a forest, level and rip the land, and actually turn it into farmable acres. With that I might actually take up logging for more than 15 minutes. Actual seasons would be cool. I would like to see 3 maps with release, at least 2 being brand new. I want an ai that can work 100% of every field without having to be babysat, preferably doing headlands rather than just driving over the road or ditch when turning around. I would also like to see ai that can haul grain or drive machines from farm to field. I find the majority of my time on fs17 is spent trucking grain, seed, fertilizer, and driving machines from field to field, no time to actually operate equipment yourself if you want to make money. I would like to expand on dynamic fuel usage, as of now harvesters burn very little fuel in the field. I would like to see a fuel increase when the thresher is turned on, and a large increase when you are threshing crop, the sound is there, now just add in the realistic fuel usage. The list could go on and on, but mostly I just hope they work out the bugs before release and come out with nicely finished game with a new engine.

I would like to see a multiplayer aspect where up to eight people can run upto four farms on one map.

I also would like to see more crops Eg: more root vegetables, grapes and orchards with specialised equipment

possible more animals and the option to fence fields and to move animals from field to field. If not this, maps with two or more of each animal field. Eg have two cow shed and fields

I would like to see maps where you start with no builds only a farm house and silo and you have to place all additional buildings and building that the player could place shelves and other placeable objects in Eg refillable seed silos, fuel pumps and water tanks.

Dynamic and reactive terrain as well as much more variable weather surely has to be the next big leap forward for the game. Most of the rest of the game is already in place. It should really all be about adding more and more detail to the experience.

A build your own map feature would be interesting, on both consoles and PC. It would solve a lot of issues people have of not having the map and farm they want. I can see Giants doing this in the future.

A dynamic management tab where you can hire ai staff and select which fields and vehicles they work in. Instead of hiring staff at field.

This would also work for have animals in grass fields and moving them from field to field.

Hmm... Some ideas for FS19 eh? Well, I hope for some these to happen:
  • 1. Something really special for it's 10th Anniversary. :coolnew: Like deluxe special packaging (a deluxe 10th packaging) just something other than a Standard Edition for us physical copy lovers. Something that is available in the U.S., whereas the Collector's Edition is not available in the U.S., so it would be nice if GIANTS released a 10th Anniversary Edition and have it be released in the U.S.

    2. Oats, rice, and maybe cotton. In addition to that, I would really like to see some cotton harvesters from Case IH.
Those two are biggest concerns/ideas that I would really love in FS19. :) But for now, I think GIANTS needs to focus on FS17 first, getting that fixed for players. *thumbsup*

This is cool idea. Would love to see 4 real seasons somehow get implemented. although I know that would be a bit tricky I think .
