We bought a Challenger MT875E today.

Post by Erica Von »

Well We is not true since I was not even there.
Bill bought it and to be honest he never even consulted me, just did it.
Said he got a deal on a 2016 Year model. 304k had it listed for 406k
its got a Argo engine 16.8L Needless to say I am not too happy.

Anyone else get into a similar situation or am I just being picky?

It depends on how big your farm is, and how big your equipment is, yes i agree a big purchase like so is something you need to discuss, it dont hurt to have a bit more power, hope im not stepping on any toes here, but you have to weight pros vs cons, just wondering, is that a fs17 tractor?

its a Field python MT875E in the game its just called a MT800E, HP is 600 which does not match up to the game spec of 646hp.
I have not seen it yet as its suppose to be delivered in 15 days. We get training on it too. and a Maintenance contract too was included.
we did sort of talked about it. but he was just suppose to look not buy anything.
And we did need a new one as 1 of our tractors was costing us more in repairs than buying a new one would have.
And I really wanted a Massy Ferguson Tractor but I did tell him I really liked the Field Python from the game.
did see a picture of it and looks the same as the one in the game. with the same skin and even fangs too.
Farm size 640 acres we keep 40 as fallow on rotation.

So your better then the Joneses? I hear ya... But your talking the big 4x4 fella, i keep thinking the tracked tractor, we dont have, or i have not seen the CAT 4x4 tractor around here, but i love and respect all tractor brands, but if the 1 tractor is causing a big problem, why not get a new one? You have the money? Go for it, you know?

I heard they help a lot with soil compaction, but apparently are a little slippy on wet/boggy ground. what would you use it for? :biggrin2: I love the tracked challengers they are beautiful tractors

You have to be ahead of the weather, planning things.

10 years of drought all the aquifers are dry. I had no idea or plan that we were going to get the rains of the century.

An MT875 and MT975 have the same V12 engine with the same power. The 800 series is on tracks, the 900 series is on wheels.

Buy the 646 HP version in game and see what it says on the hood. :wink3: And by the way, this is the coolest thread on this forum at the moment. Could we have some pics when that beast gets home? Maybe a video if you're feeling generous. *thumbsup* I'm jealous!
FS22 is the best one yet. Fight me!
