Yes they are and I'm pretty sure they would love you
masterplan wrote:There are a few exceptions though. They are the huge Bromar augers, big Big Bud + Flexi-coil cultivator + Seed hawk being stationary in the open north of field 23.
You are right. There is no other place big enough to accommodate them.
However, I did this.
I have BB747 and seed hawk. I use them for seeding in all my fields (just the starter fields right now).
But instead of leaving them out in the open I put them in the big shed facing the road between fields 26, 27 and 32. The one just behind the refill points.
They can be squeeze in there only if the BB is on standart wheels.
masterplan wrote:You want a challenge? Merge them and put potatoes there. And no, I haven't done that. In fact I did potatoes only once back on GCV and never again. But I did plant barley on this one and spent 3 hours just picking up the straw. And I picked only as much as I really needed, definitelly not all, like 60 %.
And that is the one thing I hate more than the pigs. Potatoes  But it is only because of the harvester.
masterplan wrote:Plus you're more real life as RL Lawfolds is famous for it's sheep farming.
I knew Lawfolds is based on an actual farm but I didn't know this specific *thumbsup*
masterplan wrote:And to answer your question: no. You have to be there while selling and move it a bit. It's definitelly too long for it. In fact before I used the red mod flatbed for 11 000 - you had move it as well while selling.
Thanks for the tip. I should find another trailer for the job.

As we are on console how hard can this be right?

Why do you use something so enormous to seed such tiny fields? :-D You must seed the whole field under a minute. :-D
Nope, I squeezed my Seedhawk and Flexicoil to the central field and I'm not gonna move them away even in case of armageddon. :-D
I know. I've got my two Jympas, three subsoilers and two Zunhammer slurry tanks there. And powerful tractors in the shed to the left: T9 on singles, 975E on duals, Quadtrack and 875E. ;-)

I hate potatoes as well. I like beets though. Especially with the wider header. But the problem is you get too much of it from even a small field and then you have no use for them. Even pigs eat just a little of them.

The trailer is good. Just watch it when it's selling. ;-)

Having the same mods? Very! :-D

It's interesting that in multiplayer you can't see the Statistics tab in the menu.

No, it actually takes half an hour to manoeuvre around 28-31
The thing is sometimes I can get bored too quickly as I play alone.
So I use the biggest machinery available.

Pigs eat a little beet yes but not your pigs. Yours consume almost 2 mother bin loads of it

Well may be it is because whose statistic are they gonna be? The farmer's or the dement's?

As it takes me 3 hours to feed cows when the TMR bars are at 75 - 80 %, half an hour is nothing. :-D You need to start listen to music so you don't get bored. ;-) :-D

That's nothing. You get approx. 110-120k L of beets from 1 ha. ;-) :-D

Well both. Fuel, seed, feritliser usage, driven distance etc.

lol, global warming.
Anyways starting a 200-300 cow farm on Thornton farm, a lot of hay must be cut, any help would be very welcome, I trust the people on here 10 times more than anyone in some sketchy Xbox club

Dude in here it's like when you bake something in an oven and open it. Terrible. I don't like it.

Anyway lemme give you a tip:cut the grass on a field and leave it there. Fertilize it twice as neccessary and then cut again. Repeat one more time, even two more times and only then ted(d) and windrow. You'll have so much of it you won't know what to do with it. ;-)
And yes: field. Don't cut the grass that grows wildly, too low yield. Make it a field and seed the grass. ;-)

Haven't tried or calculated, but shouldn't the yield be double as we're talking about plowed and three times fertilised field? ;-)

It should but it doesn't. At least not in GCV.

I don't know if the yield of the grass is map dependent.

OK so I'm NOT supposed to use grass fields on Thornton farm, I'm supposed to plant one my self?

Use one of the existing fields and plant it with grass or use a plow and create one and plant grass on it
