Tele Skid

Has anyone heard about this. It's a Jcb skid steer, with a telescopic boom. It looks really cool, wouldn't mind this as a stand alone dlc later in the games life

Never heard and honestly didn't google it before writing my comment.

But first thought that came to my mind was how easy it would to be that skid steer to flip over. Because, I don't think skid steers have enough weight at the back to handle the weight of a telescopic boom carrying some load.

It can and can't hold the weight. When it is directly out in front of it even an empty bucket lifts the back end up a little bit. Then when you start lifting up it shifts the weight back. However some of what t can do is already a capability of any vertical lift skidsteer. Still it is a unique concept and I am sure it will find it's grove. However I still don't know how I feel about single arm skidsteers.

Looks like it works just fine

Their website says it wil lift 611Kg fully extended, so there shouldent be a problem picking up a bale and putting into a trailer high up not far out.

Just like manitous i guess it has have a overload limiter. Mobile cranes have this to so that you dont pick up a heavy load and tipping it over moving the load away from you. But idiots will make things happen anyways
