ive got friends who have lost everything down there.. in fact one of my close friends not only lost her home but now the church her, her kidlet and husband r holed up in is being threatened by the rising waters.. I'm not even sure what to say.. the whole thing is terrible beyond words :sadnew:

They don't need prayers..... clearly whoever it is that y'all want prayers to decided "F Texas". Instead send useful things like boats inner tubes and bug spray. You know items that are actually useful.

My reading teacher said her sister lived down there. They had bought sandbags and dug trenches and they hadn't had any water come in their house yet.

I am most definitely praying for Texas. It's just horrible. I don't personally know anyone down there, but I've seen pictures, I can't imagine the pain and loss

I have a lot of friends in Texas. Thankfully they are all in or around Austin so they are OK. Nature is not a force we should underestimate and it will only get worse from here, but buildings can be rebuild and it will be fine in the end, as long as the people are OK. I know some died, so let's hope it won't be more.

Praying for something doesn't always mean you'll get the answer you want. God will always answer, however, the timing and the answer you get may not have been what you wanted. But sometimes, He doesn't do anything until you ask
