Forum change suggestion

It would be nice to have a "like" button for posts here.

I have had lots of posts I'd like to give a thumbs up to, but don't want to clutter the board with a bunch of "yeah, me too" posts.

Glasses I feel for you! I'm so used to reddit in this day and age. This is my first forum since like 2007 LOL

Rigs of Rods forums had a thanks button for every post you or someone posted, if you had an idea or something like that, its almost a like button.

Actually afaik.. phpBB/vBulletin has always had a couple of systems like this. There is a Reputation system where each user can give out X Rep points a day, to any post/reply by any user. And yeah, believe there is also that extremely similar "Thanks" system.

Not that I necessarily think they should be implemented here. I have no opinion on that.

I'm a moderator on another forum with a rep system but its next to useless other than to create a status quo.

Looks like people are still asking for it to be a part of the phpBB software. No idea if it works as advertised, but here is one person who made what appears to be a phpBB extension for post "likes" https://github.com/lygav/phpbbPostLike
