Keep hearing ads for it on truckers FM, a Google says it's virtual truck company. There's loads of them.
Some of them guarantee no damage on deliveries etc.

Vtc= virtual truck company. It's basically a group of people who take note of their workloads. Start time, driving time, money earned from the job, fuel costs etc. You can edit your mp name to show the vtc name before hand. Doesn't make any difference to the game. Just a way of other people "competing" with each other.

Ah right. I presumed there was something in it for them. I was nearly certain I heard one ad mentioning steam cards as reward, must of imagined it lol.

Some of them do take it super serious. I got kicked from the mp once for overtaking someone on a double lane entry road into a city, just because they couldn't move out at the last second to turn right at the approaching roundabout they reported me for breaking road rules. Like everything else these days there is a way to make money from a Vtc with adverts etc. Owners of said vtc will offer a steam card as a reward for "employee of the month". I admit I joined a VTC once but it was only out of curiosity. Quickly realised that it was draining the fun out the game for me. If I want to drive a truck and see costs at the end of the day I would start a real life haulage company. It's a game not a way of life.

There also used to be "cameras" online. Not sure if they are still there or not. The mp developers streamed live 24/7 it allowed you to watch people zip past at certain points. Was pretty cool when a convoy or 2 rolled up at the same time

I can't go over 90kmh. It feels like a game limitation. I think I'm doing something wrong :confusednew:

Rhoda, go into the gameplay options. There you can un-check an option called 'truck speed limiter' or something. De-activating that will make it possible to go over 90 kmh for normal loads. If you take external contracts, the speed will be limited to 90 no matter what.

Go to settings and then gameplay, scroll down and untick the box that says truck limiter.

Thank you both for your replies :hi:
What if I say I've already done that and still not able to go over 90 without any trailer at all let alone normal loads.
Probably I'm doing something extremely stupid but as my brain works only for FS purposes I just can't figure out :biggrin2:
Any guesses on my stupidity?

Are you sure you have it unticked though because any truck in the game should go over 90 with no trailer. Are you trying to accelerate past 90?
