I doubt we will see a mod request forum anytime soon, think of the hardship of moving threads to begin with lol.

Definetly. I would even post it in the rules that "Requesting" a mod on the forum isn't allowed. Now, If the individual wants to personally contact the modder through a PM, that is fine. But it will just make people frustrated if newer people bring ideas to the chopping block for all to see and they have already been disscussed or it is a silly idea like a 100 row corn header. So my point is that the person should either contact the modder by PM or other means or, just learn how to mod in genral. Thanks

Ok we are going to try something. From now we are going to have both, so we still have the big thread and also we will allow users to make new threads etc, if it doesn't work we can change it but let's see how it goes.

Please don't post nastily if anyone makes a thread. Thanks all.

I say keep it as one thread, so its easier to ignore. I don't want to have to comb through any more "can we get a john deere on console?" threads than I have to to see relevant posts.

Considering Modders report mod requests that are outside of the main topic.

There probably won't be any Modders left to do requests.

Just raising a potential concern

Wouldn't that be great if the users also have the ability to open polls? :biggrin2:
I just love voting and sometimes a good prepared poll is equal to a thousand words.
Think about it. That could refresh the forum top to bottom :coolnew:

I voted for one big topic. Mod requests are... well.. kind of a problem .. in general, as they imply (at least sometimes) that you can just request things and you will get them. That's not how this works (as we all know) so mod requests in general usually cause more frustration than happyness, but yeah let's see where the poll goes.

So for user polls, sure why not, let's enable it.

First part, I totally agree. That thread never had the intended purpose.

And the second part gives a ton of joy. Thanks Lisertan :hi: :biggrin2:

users opening polls, im not against it but im not really for it either. Newer forum members could make a silly poll about spam and stuff like that and it could go out of hand. I dont think Its a good idea but its my opinion.

^^ I think it is something to try....I already used it to see which one of my WIPs people wanted first. I think if it gets out of control, then they will disable it again.
