Are there any modders who actually do take requests?

If not I will say one thread.

I voted to lock it and make other threads because maybe you can make a thread to request equipment and a thread for vehicles .

I think individual threads would get too confusing....there would be so many that modders may forget where they saw that idea, so I vote stick with one thread and use the search function to find the idea(s) that they saw.

Not to burst anyones bubble or anything but, "mod requests are not taken. I'm sure that all of the people that have been here for a while know this. The entire thread just seems kind of pointless imho. I think we should rename the thread "Mod Ideas". Just my 2 cents.

Some very good idea's been mentioned. My reasoning for asking was that as it is, when someone makes a thread asking for mods they get the head taken off them at times. Lisertan addressed the forum idea when he done the rearrangement iirc, most requests are not addressed but there has been a number of mods made after what was requested in one of those threads.

I think it might be worth trying to reach out to some of the mod creators that are active on this an other forums to check if they are even looking at such mod request threads to decide which mods they create. If this kinds of threads are never even looked at by them then such mod requests/ideas threads are just a wast of time.

And if at least some people instead of spending their time creating or discussing mod requests would spend their time trying to learn how to mod so they can create the mods they want themselves then the likelihood of getting more mods would be much higher.

Modders such as toxicom and bdssb have made mods from from requests made here, for the most part it may be pointless but new users will keep posting them so we need to decide if it will stay as is or just let them create their own threads.

With my idea. Modders could reply to whatever interests them

yeah, I just do not like the word "request" getting thrown around because it makes the person think that they are entitled to all mods and it doesn't speak highly of them either. Just reading through the Mod "Request" thread, it just seems kind of pointless to have because it is just people that aren't grateful for what they are given sometimes. There are some good ideas on that thread but the people asking like "I would like someone to make an X for ME. It sounds kind of rude because it is a personal request and not something that everyone else might want. Try and look into how to make mods and then maybe the issue woudn't be as bad.

Stick it in one thread so we don't have to ignore multiple topics!
