Nice video :)

@redglasses:
Pretty much any modern tractor with more than 200HP has a 6-cylinder engine. Between 150 and 200HP you can find 4-cylinders and 6-cylinders, below that it's usually 4-cylinders and below 100HP you sometimes also find 3-cylinders.

Leno is into anything with an engine.
He has some weird stuff in his garage.
I play on Xbox3 (Which they called the "One" for some reason)

Oh ok, never really thought of the amount of cylinders in a tractor tbh :lol:

What I really wonder is how on earth did NH managed to make the T9 sound like a potent V8 with that 6 cyln diesel engine?

Different length exhaust manifolds and a tuned exhaust can sound whatever way you like. That's how the impreza has the iconic burble.

You are right about that. I mean you can adjust the sound but I think I will oppose to your comment on the Impreza because its sound is unique to its 4 cylinder boxter engine rather than the exhaust system. You can find a very similar tone in the latest 718 series of Porsche. They also use 4 cylinder boxter engines. Their fine tune on the sound is a bit different than Subaru for sure but the base sound is pretty much identical. 4 cylinder boxter engines sound just amazing and I had the change to ride in an STI a while back. 4WD traction and acceleration accompanied with that incredible sound was just heavenly.

Nope you can remove the burble with equal length manifolds, I used to have a 250hp (at the wheels) WRX that I absolutely loved. It was a monster on full throttle.

Brutal quality but this was my car. I had a Sony Ericsson k800i phone recording both.

Lol I wish, I had it in 2006 and sold it after missus Guil was pregnant with our second child. I was putting €250 petrol in to the car every week. The stories I could tell about that car and the thrill every time I turned the key and heard that big Mitsubishi TD05 spooling up. It give me goosebumps still and I can hear it all through the rev range.

It was pure madness but I was planning on getting a new 2.5ltr engine and 6 speed gearbox for it but it would have been money down the drain.

In the video of the clocks above I went from about 40km/h to about 140km/h and the windows were up. Probably don't go much past 5500rpm either but when I did it would absolutely roar.
