U know that in some countrys "choppers" are for motorized bycicles like a harley davidson etc. ? ^^

but in some countrys you don't call a Harley a motorized bicycle . it's just a Harley

As far as I knew, one of the meanings of the word "chopper" is a helicopter.
The other meaning that corresponds to that specific type of motorcycles like harleys, I also knew that too.
But I always thought that harleys (or the like) are refered as choppers because of the sounds both vehicles make.
A harley or almost every chopper sounds pretty close to a helicopter.

However, it seems one of the actual meanings of the word "chopper" already corresponds to those types of motorcycles.

not all Harleys are chopper the meaning of chopper for a motorcycle(and doesn't have anything to do with the sound)..............A chopper is a type of custom motorcycle which emerged in California in the late 1950s. The chopper is perhaps the most extreme of all custom styles, often using radically modified steering angles and lengthened forks for a stretched-out appearance. They can be built from an original motorcycle which is modified ("chopped") or built from scratch. Some of the characteristic features of choppers are long front ends with extended forks often coupled with an increased rake angle, hardtail frames (frames without rear suspension), very tall "ape hanger" or very short "drag" handlebars, lengthened or stretched frames, and larger than stock front wheels. The "sissy bar", a set of tubes that connect the rear fender with the frame, and which are often extended several feet high, is a signature feature on many choppers.

Perhaps the best known choppers are the two customized Harley-Davidsons, the "Captain America" and "Billy Bike", seen in the 1969 film Easy Rider.

I've owned a Harley since 1995. been to Sturgis SD Motorcycle Rally 3 times, i'm a diehard Harley guy. and traveled all across United States.

I sold my CBR 600 because I couldn't ride it under 100mph.

Motorcycles are not dangerous. It's the other drivers on the road that don't see you or don't care if you are on a motorcycle, they are the ones that are dangerous.

I saw the Marlboro Man on a real Horse at least, instead of his Harley xD
