Train Sim coming to consoles

Post by MrSquealypig »

I know I'm not the only one who started getting into sim games when FS finally came to console and showed it could be done.

Anyone else interested in train sim world?

I played Train Simulator a lot, but haven't played this one yet...

I always hoped that more simulators would come to console, but it never happened (a lot). Now that I have a gaming PC, one after the other is released...

I'm still waiting for Bus Simulator, Car Mechanic Simulator, and a Truck Simulator!

I'd like a Flight Sim too but I don't know if consoles could even handle it.

Right now it's $30 u.s.d. it's basically beta version. They just announced july 24th the full version to be released for not only xbox but ps4 now with several routes. Including a CXS route. Current owners will get it at a discount. It is quite interesting game to play

Been playing it since the founders edition got released. Not upgraded yet. Will do that this Friday. Only downside to it on console is there is very little ai to be seen on the tracks so it can get tedious and boring especially doing the class 43 services. Considering it's the first train simulation for console it's pretty well done. Like everything though it has a few problems here and there, nothing game breaking but they are noticeable. Hoping DTG don't do the same with this as they done to their latest flight sim in pc.

On the forums, london Paddington is every 10-15 mins. New York Penn, is every 30 mins i believe. The NEC isnt based on a real timetable though

There are times when you don't see any other trains at all on the GWE though on console, something to do with the ue4 engine and its compatibility with the software

Why did you link me to something I already knew?? I'm part of that forum and already said the ai is scarce compared to pc. Acknowledging the fact I already knew it.
