Yeah, this forum is one of, if not the best online communities I'm a part of. The arguments never get too heated and the insults are pretty much nonexistent.

I do have one question though.

This may be poking the hornet nest with a stick but ..

I sold my DVDs of Episode 4, 5 and 6. My VHS (original) copies are better than this remastered garbage the kids have now. (I'm one of the only people I know who has a VCR hooked up to a HDTV. Only thing its used for is Star Wars, and Three Stooges)

Episode 1, 2 and 3 were too cartoonish in my opinion. Jar Jar ruined it for me.
When Jar Jar wasn't acting so "tewwwwwible" we had to watch this creepy stalker-love story between Ani and Padme.

The remastered the originals and added goofy cartoon characters for the kids.
Han no longer shoots first. (He's supposed to be a dirtbag that would shoot someone under the table)
Extra scenes with Jabba that make him seem less of a mafia boss and more like a helpless wuss.
Jabba's lair was brightly lit and clean, making it seem like he was hanging out at Chuck-E-Cheese instead of some dingy scary hangout.
Cantina music changed.
Remastered ending for Jedi that has YOUNG Anakin standing there with Obi Wan and Yoda. (Young Anakin slaughtered a room full of children, OLD Anakin killed his evil master as a change of heart back to good, earning his place with the Jedi masters)

Newest episodes are being produced by someone who never watched the originals and doesn't care what the fans think.

TLDR: Before anyone (Lis) blows a gasket, I'm not against Star Wars, I'm against the changes to Star Wars.

As for the Original Post: Giants forum is pretty good. In my top 2 forums.

Slightly off topic (but then again this thread is in off topic) I liked the originals the prequels were ok and seven was tolerable eight shouldn’t even exist I find it sad the the trilogy movies (the ones they’re still working on at least) are worse than the stand alone movies I thought rogue one was excellent and solo was pretty good as well
