Bt home hub 5 v Bt home hub 6

My bit home hub 5 is now disconnecting from the internet (orange light) my neighbour who is a BT engineer said my connection is fine and speed is excellent.so I’m hoping to get an upgrade off BT but don’t hold out much hope so I may buy a new one. I would like to hear from any one who’s made the upgrade or recommend a different one....thanx

I would tell bt to send a new one, you are paying rental for equipment of theirs in your contract, its faulty they have to replace it otherwise you can leave them and go elsewhere without paying a disconnect charge as they are breaching their contract with you.
