There are some nice looking double crops that are about 6 inches tall

Yeah, we didn't do much, but they look really good.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.

You doubt the double crop has pods on them? Ours do, though I don't think the yield will be as good because of the drought.

They are tiny, if they do have pods they won't fill

Oh i didn't even see the height you said that. I read while driving. Ours above my waist, so like normal height. I'm sure they abandon pods though to get through the heat.

It was crazy, I have been watching them on online auctions trying to find one and the same trailer 4-8 years old and used were going for the same price as new and in one case one sold for more than new. So I said screw it and bought a new one

I hate oat dust the worst, then wheat, then beans, but it is all terrible haha.

When you deal with oats, you understand why they say it is an old timers crop. You can like feel the years and years of dirt on it even if it is just a year old crop ha.
