This ia a so called 'Eillbulldog' (express bulldog), which is the street version of the Lanz 'Bulldog' field tractor.

These weren't used for field work, but were used mostly by transport companies to pull trailers on the road. So their kind of the predecessors of your modern Kenworth, Freightliner or Mack truck.

BTW. this is what they sound like:

It's got a 1 cylinder engine with around 10 litres displacement. Really impressive IMHO.
