Price is pretty huge too, those big ass floaters are ridiculously expensive. Tires for our scrapers at work get as high as $10,000 a tire.

Would the widths and such also be why the clamp on duals are common in Europe? Allowing them to be pulled off?
Width regs are also almost non-existent in most of the US, "Fits it ships" Warning lights/signs are the same way, SMV and everything else is optional (SMV location, visibility, etc do have some state variance)
As for road width I wouldn't say our roads in Indiana are much wider than Europe (I know Illinois has some wider roads because they actually have shoulders) When pulling our neighbors Roll-o-bar rake back from the field it used most of the road and our 4 wheel rake unfolded is the same (along with the 2 basket tedder) The BTO I'm looking at through my window has 2 MT800's, and 620QT, and 2 lexions (and a Magnum 380) all take up most of the road when running down it.
Also 24 row planters are either 15ft+ or 10ft+ wide (6 or 4 row units on the back) and one of those is 4.5m.

We are in Illinois and have taken a 25 foot head down the road a few times, and our 20ft bean planter doesn't fold

I don't think anyone cares legal or not as long as they still have a mailbox.

Hitting a mailbox is about like hitting a blade of grass with a mower? Gone?
