The Ukraine situation and giants' role in it

Post by sinclaircoolnew »

Hi there,
I am posting here regarding the ongoing situation in Ukraine. I am wondering if giants will be donating to the Ukrainian government to help out the military out there. And will their be a blog post about it

What is Giants going to do about Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen etc?

Can we get both Russian and US equipment removed? Both needs to be sanctioned out.

You cant ban one without the other.

But there is a reason why political stuff doesn´t belong anywhere on game forums or in games.

What exactly would Giants have to donate? I think the Ukrainian government has their hands full defending themselves against a tyrant dictator, and no time for playing farming games.

Are you going to be donating to the Ukrainian government? Will you be blogging about it?

Ah yes, killing terrorist that bomb the trade towers first, is the same as killing innocent people and just bombing cities like Germany did to London back in ww2.
US isn't even involved in this, except for little sanctions on Russia. Biden should have never shut down our oil and gasoline pipelines.

US have invaded left and right for over half a century. But it is always ok when we are the attackers.
NATO was also abused to bomb the Yugoslavian army to pieces as they used it against states that wanted to be free. But again, turn the coin around and now something like the Ukranian Azov nazi battalion is suddenly our friends. And a country that used it´s army against civilians for 8 years.

Russia or USA, same ****. Both cant be trusted.

One country freedom fighters is the others terrorists and saboteurs.

Other countries have invaded and fought for centuries. If you think us is the only country funding nato, then you are too far down the rabbit hole. Ah yes, not Russian propaganda to believe Russia is the good guys here. Putin is an ex kgb agent, he can't be trusted.

Edit: I don't believe everyone is neo nazi, could they have some sure, there are some in the states still. Last night on the news, I saw multiple Africans get handed a gun and saw others leave the country.

The US is far from perfect, we've had more than our fair share of blunders abroad over the course of the great country's existence. That said, The free Nations of the world owe it to Ukraine to assist them. The Ukrainians have the willpower to fight for their own freedom, and that certainly counts for something.

It is great to see the widespread support for Ukraine, but at what point do we draw the line? Is Call of Duty going to eliminate the "AK" series and style rifles from their games? After all, their design is of Russian Origin. There are a number of Eastern European maps for this game. Are we going to boycott them, too?

Any developers that choose to donate to Ukraine is great, but I certainly don't think that it should be an expectation or a requirement.

Taliban also won their freedom....right?

And yes, sanctions are getting silly. But weapon industry is influential and they earn nothing on peace. Cold war needs to be revived. Russia is evil, China is evil, everyone is evil. Fear is a powerful motivator.
Russia invaded Ukraine because they was forced to. It was easy avoidable but we wanted a conflict. Same every time we expanded NATO.

Ask yourself this, what would happen if Russia made a pact with Cuba and placed Russian bases and missiles there? Oh wait, we know that one. Lets try another, what would happen if Mexico and China made a pact and Chinese bases and missiles was stationed in Mexico?

Yep, exactly...

The cold War does not need to come back. China and russia already have an agreement. There is talk of Russia wanting to build a base in Mexico. Good luck go ahead. They can't even refill their vehicles near Ukraine, but yet will have fuel and everything for them in Mexico. OK, go ahead and try. China might invade Taiwan. That's why Japan is building their naval fleet. Also Russia was never forced to do anything. Ukraine wants to join nato now only to get help, but guess what they aren't being accepted. Britain wants to kick Russia or of the un as well.

NATO isn´t known to be trusted tbh.

And China wont invade Taiwan. The semi industry that accounts for almost 40% of Taiwan GDP have recently made tests on foreign attempts.

China was expected to use bureaucracy against the industry in terms of hindering access to mainland market to boost domestic production.
The US was expected to launch sabotage attacks on production facilities in Taiwan to strengthen domestic production this way.

Why do folks expect companies of any sort to be political?.....they make vidya games not bullets....they spend their money improving digital enjoyment as I would expect them to. As to your point...why doesn't joe Biden do anything about blue screens?
