cannot go in reverse

Using the ps4. I cannot go in reverse using the default Case 1660 harvester with the Capello Quasar HS 16 head.

Anyone know why?

I see that you are playing on a console but Do you by chance have a drive control mod of some sort.
The reverse has a "shuttle" (that refers to the gear shifter) that you must press be switch into reverse.

Seems it would affect forward and reverse both then. Here's a strange thing. If I hire a worker(not to work a field..just as a short test to drive the harvester maybe 10 feet) then dismiss him I can use reverse, but only once....if I release the L3 reverse it will not start going in reverse again.

i'm not sure, but it sounds like you enabled the Stop-and-Go-Break in the options (i'm not sure if it's called that way, as i'm playing the game with german language), with that option you have to break to 0 mph/kph and press it again to go reverse (something like a shuttle mode in the drivecontrol mod)

yes it is called Stop and Go braking. Check it to OFF and try again. What this option does is let you hold the brake without it going into reverse until you press it again.
Also check your gamepad controls to see what is set up gor your gas and brake.

Stop and Go braking made no difference, still no reverse.

I think you're right. Its weird that it goes in forward though, if its too big.

Just tried it, yh it doesn't go backwards with the header.

Way too big and heavy, just see how much it pulls the front down.
