[FS17] Bug Collection Thread (Version 1.4.2)

Hello everyone,

if you spot a bug in Farming Simulator 17 Version 1.4.2 and up, please report them here.
(If you bought the disc version, please patch your game first!)

You would do us a huge favor if you could do a quick search and check first if someone already encountered the same issue before reporting your bug. It will help us to speed up the fixing process greatly as we wouldn't have to filter all the duplicates

It's important that the bug is reproducable. Otherwise we might not be able to analyze and comprehend it. So please try to be as precise as possible with your descriptions.
You may attach your log.txt file to your post. Images or short videos showing the bug are always welcome as well!



Fixed issues in the next patch 1.4.4:
  • Helper stops if the headland is too wide
  • Helper raises the tools too early at the headland
  • Helper sometimes quits the work after the first lane
  • Helper sometimes turns too early on the first lane
  • Helper turns wrongly if the tools are very assymetric
  • Lua error when trying to activate the 11th helper in multiplayer
  • Selling soya/sunflowers/canola at the mill on Sosnovka gives no money with old savegames
Fixes in patch 1.4.2:
  • Helper now properly detects headland and turns earlier
  • Fixed direct sowing machines to work properly with the same fruit
  • Fixed helper with the Lemken Solitair 12
  • Added color selection in the shop for the Goldhofer STZ-VP 3
  • Improved all-wheel steering for the Holmer TerraDos
  • Increased overloading speed of Holmer Terra Felis
  • Mirrored text on Joskin Tornado
  • Fixed trees from placeables and planted trees going invisible when releasing the tension belts at the train
  • Fixed reverse sound in multiplayer when turning off the motor
  • Fixed error message in multiplayer (e.g. with Lemken Gigant 10): Validity check failed in TransformGroup_setDirection: Direction is zero
  • Seeds and fertilizer trigger now don't close the tool covers automatically (this lead to some weird situations, e.g. on Sosnovka when trying to load something from the farm silo)
  • The farm silo trigger now automatically opens the trailer covers
  • Fixed helper with the Joskin Modulo
  • Fixed crash when attaching/detaching trees on the train while a vehicle is close
  • Fixed log message "Static actor moved" with savegames that have placeable trees
  • Increased width of Lely Tigo xr 75 pickup
  • Fixed weeder when running over grass windrows (converted them into silage foil)
  • PS4/XB1: Fixed crash with the ForReal Ground Response mod (PS4 error code CE-34878-0)
  • PS4/XB1: Fixed deactivation of the ForReal mods without fully restarting the application
  • Steam: Fixed rare issue showing a message to buy the full version
  • Fixed mods dynamically creating pallets (e.g. Fabrikscript from Marhu.net)
  • Fixed maximum camera rotation for Tobii EyeX (predecessor to Tobii Eye Tracker 4C)

you have some wheat leave in the combine, clear it out and try again.

- Issue: Seed and fertilizer trigger still interact with the trailers cover.
- Single- or Multiplayer: Single
- Steps to reproduce: Close the cover of a tipper and drive over the seed or fertilizer trigger. The cover is removed.

These bugs from 1.3 thread are still not fixed:

- Acceleration and Braking is very jerky. Vehicles suddenly speed up
This is clearly observable when you start to drive from standing still. A tractor starts moving and then suddenly does a jerky jump forward and then continues in relatively normal way.
On top of that, stopping a vehicle is anything but smooth. It does a hard stop when the speeds goes below certain (low) value.

- When creating a character, certain words are censored (e.g. apple ->a#!*e, Kilian -> K#!ian)
Just try it.

These bugs were claimed as fixed by patch 1.4, but clearly are not. I can only guess how many others like these are there.

YOU SIMPLY LIED TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. YOU SIMPLY TOOK THE LIST OF 1.3 BUGS AND ADDED A TEXT CLAIMING "ALL OF THIS IS FIXED". IT'S NOT TRUE AT ALL!!

My Xbox one did not update when I launched the game. It usually does for an update. Is there a way to see the version on the Xbox?

- Vehicle/Tool/Model/Object: ITRunner manure spreader
- Issue: shop displays capacity as 24000 but it can fill to 32000
- Single- or Multiplayer: both
- Steps to reproduce: buy the spreader and fill at any manure area, it will hold 32000 instead of 24000.

fixed by editing file in modpack to change the capacity.

I play on Xbox and the only issue I've had since the update is when I sell at gold crest pacific grain. I start unloading and my Challenger MT700E shakes and levitates.

- Steps to reproduce: after update from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2 the multiplayer game give me this message "The activation key of the product is blocked".

I bought the game online directly on the Farming Simulato 2017. I send messages at the customer support but any answer yet. Hope here i found the solution.

Various tractors and tools

Workers do not recognise field and simply get to the end and say that they have completed their task.

I started a new save on Goldcrest Valley and the hired help still stop at the end of the field each time when planting seed.
They also stop each time when windrowing straw.
Playing on PS4 and PC.
I7 3.5Ghz, 8GB RAM, GTX960 2Gb graphics.

Farmer/tractor driver in real life.
