Anywhere. Just tip them in a shed somewhere, then pick them up with a bucket or conveyor belt.

Also you can unload those in the regular silo, where you dumb all the crops in.

Have done that. Problem is you cant see how much you have in the statistic view. There must be a storage somewhere. Also for silage...

This is from vehicle.xml
Main farm, only grain:
<onCreateLoadedObject saveId="Storage_storage1">
<node fillType="wheat" fillLevel="82967.0859375" />
<node fillType="barley" fillLevel="100000" />
<node fillType="rape" fillLevel="83329.09375" />
<node fillType="sunflower" fillLevel="100000" />
<node fillType="soybean" fillLevel="100000" />
<node fillType="maize" fillLevel="95931.2578125" />
</onCreateLoadedObject>

Where is this storage?
<onCreateLoadedObject saveId="Storage_storage2">
<node fillType="wheat" fillLevel="0" />
<node fillType="barley" fillLevel="0" />
<node fillType="rape" fillLevel="0" />
<node fillType="sunflower" fillLevel="0" />
<node fillType="soybean" fillLevel="0" />
<node fillType="maize" fillLevel="0" />
<node fillType="potato" fillLevel="0" />
<node fillType="sugarBeet" fillLevel="0" />
</onCreateLoadedObject>

Thee should be one more storage that can hold potato and sugarbeet. I guess i have to keep on store in the shed until i find out where.

Thanks,

why does there have to be ? the game has evolved it isn't the same in some respects as FS15... to me...being able to dump anywhere far exceeds the uselfullness of HAVING to put something somewhere specifically and only there

Because vehicles.xml says so.
There it indicates there should be two storage locations. One that can hold potatoes and beet.

Maybe the train silos are the second "storage". As far as I heard, you should also be able to unload sugerbeets and patatos at the train silo.

And you can't see how much you have in the statistic view. Further more, if the are storage i want to know where they are IF i want to use them and for planning for future field purchase.

leeqnl, I'll have a look there.
asyvan, There should be 4 storage according to vehicle.xml and three of them can hold sugarbeet and potatoes.

You say 4 storages... So that might be:
1 silo set near your farm
2 small concrete storage buildings
1 big concrete storage building

So what happens if you dump your parato's, sugar beets or other crop in one of the "shelters" with concrete walls on/near your farm? Are those the other 3 storages? I found out those buildings are in the list with "equipement".

If you are able to check it, I would really like to hear the answer. Else I will check it when i'm back home (at the moment at the office. Still one hour of working to go)
