beta mods?

beta mods?

hey fellow farmers, im seeing a lot of mods in the mod section of this website that say beta on it, what does that mean?
and are those mods coming to the ps4 and xbox 1 versions as well, like the MAN TGS 18.440 Tipper Pack i saw. i would really like that pack to come to the consoles as well

The beta mods only passed a quick test to make sure there are no big, obvious bugs (like obvious errors in the LOG file when using the basic functionality).
For console, this testing procedure is not enough. However it is possible, that if we see a good mod that would be a nice addition to the consoles, we contact the modder and ask him if he would like his mod to be available on consoles. If that's the case, it will undergo the full testing and end up on the consoles if everything meets the requirements.

Could there possibly be a poll of some sort to voice our opinions on what we would like to have on consoles? Personally I would like to see the subsoilers and the tandem axle twin star released for the consoles.

No because we didnt make them

Of course you may suggest beta mods which you would like to see on consoles. That's one way to determine if there might be a need for a certain kind of mod on consoles.
If we then concider a release on consoles depends on the (technical) quality of the mod. If it would have to be completely re-build or re-textured to meet the requirements, you most likely won't see it on consoles. But if the basic quality is OK, there's a chance you eventually see it on consoles.

@Bassaddict, is the refill tanks-mod coming to consoles? Checked yesterday, but wasn't available yet on ps4

Last friday mods came on, so if there is a trend then might see some today

I dont know if it was a fixed day, a tweet popped up saying 4 mods were now avaliable on all platforms.


Then on Monday the krone harvester, a forage wagon and the shed package came up
