[SOLVED] Export "corona light" from Maya/Blender

Post by Ziuta Modding »

I wanted to export coronas lights from Maya 2016. I created a plane and assigned it a Lambert material, assigned a diffuse texture, changed the value of "Glow Intensity" to 1 and added an "emissiveLightsShader" shader and set the variations to "BILLBOARD" and the default parameter. I export the model to the I3D and unfortunately the GE plane is transparent from the side where I should see corona, but you can see the model grid. When I change the variation to "None" the textures on this page should appear.
I also tried to convert it using Blender according to the Farming Simulator Modding for Dummies instructions (page 93), but the end result is exactly the same.
What am I doing wrong? Is this an Exporter I3D v7.0.0 error?

Hi Ziuta Modding,

The positive z-axis of the corona needs to point into the direction the corona is visible.

On the image below you can see the correct orientation of the z-axis (blue)

Thank you very much, I did not think the axis was important and I did not check this variant.
