[SOLVED] Ponsse scorpion king

PC/Mac/PS4/XB1: PC
- Vehicle/Tool/Model/Object: Ponsse Scorpion king (original)
- Issue: when you cut down a tree, harvester head leaves branches to the logs. It should cut all branches but it leaves atleast one branch every single tree. This happens with planted trees and original trees in gcv map.
- Single- or Multiplayer: single
- Steps to reproduce: plant trees and cut them down with ponsse scorpion king and it leaves branches every single tree.

Hi Ragman!

We have tried reproducing this issue on our side, but to no avail. Can you tell me if you are using any external mods and post me your log file (in the spoiler)? Have you noticed this happening in MP as well?

Hi Ragman - thx for your reply and log!

Hmm...this is indeed strange. Have you tried reproducing this issue with no mods activated? Just the base game and perhaps the Kuhn DLC activated? Also: Did this happen on Goldcrest Valley or Sosnovka? If not, then it could be that the mod map you are playing on uses some other kind of trees and thus the branches remains after being cut down - I'm not sure myself though...

Hi, not tried without the mods, need to test that. Yea it happens on Goldcrest valley, near field 9 and with trees planted at field 9.

Hi its tested now and almost every planted tree leaves branches of you cut them 6-8m long. If you cut them 1m long then no problems

This usually happens to me when using some modded versions of the Scorpion King, but hardly never when using the stock equipment.
I had this issue a lot more when playing FS15 but never really had any issues like this with FS17 though.

Well, it would be great if someone could confirm this working on our stock Scorpion King - no mods, no nothing ;) Otherwise we won't bug it, since it's no problem with our vanilla game.

Well this is strange. I have video with bugging trees in vanilla game without any mod even without kuhn dlc, but after the first tree was bugged, it stopped. I cut down about 20 trees and bug was gone. Dont know what happend, tried this before and the trees bugged then now they dont. Is it possible that the planted trees was bugged somehow? But anyway now the problem is gone.
