Spectacle island trees reappearing

I'm having a issue where the trees that I cleared out of my fields are reappearing this doesn't appear to be happening on any other maps so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with spectacle island. I don't know how to get this to repeat all I can say is cut down the trees in the fields and then wait, when spectacle island updated, I didn't restart my game because it said in the description that you only needed to restart if you wanted the trees to change with the seasons, but I'm not using the season mod on this save so I didn't bother on restarting. Any help would be appreciated also remember I'm on PS4 thanks in advance

Yeah, pretty sure this is an issue with that new update. It mostly required a new save, but didn't say that in the changelog
