Contracts

Post by tractorwill21 »

I can't find anything in the forum about farming contracts. I can't find contracts on fs20 for switch, is this not included like in previous versions?

Edit don_apple: topic moved from german to english section.

The mobile version does not contain contracts. You'll have to play FS 19/17 if you want them.

You can do contracts in the Nintendo Switch version. It’s not in the menu under its own category like for pc/Xbox/PS. You have to go to the field you don’t own itself and theres an icon you click on and then where you can do the work. You can’t hire any helpers at all for contracts, and you can’t leave the field for too long otherwise you lose all progress on the work and have to start over. It gives you ten seconds or so to get back to the work. You can’t even tab over quickly to your own fields to hire workers to do anything and then quickly tab back to resume the contracted work. You are totally stuck doing it and CAN NOT do anything else. You have to hire workers for your own fields BEFORE you start any contract. If your hired workers screw up on your owned fields doing anything while you’re doing a contract, you can’t fix any of it until you finish the contract or stop doing the contract and lose all progress and have to start all over again, even if you want to start over again. The big fields take along time, so you’re stuck doing it for awhile. The game tells you, you can’t even save, quit, and then reload in the middle of a contract, otherwise you lose all progress just like leaving the field for too long. So if you “quit” because you’re saving and wanna play another game and come back to farming simulator, you’re progress is completely lost. You can only go to the switch menu, and then go back to the game, as long as you don’t start anything else and close the game. So contracts are a pain sometimes. But still doable.
