I'd do some testing for you. Best of luck with it either way.

I have sent you a PM with a link ...

When you decide to go bigger ...
When the map has no selling point for wood chips ... find a workaround!

Re: WIP "inutile"
The concept is an "open sandbox" map ... where you create most of it yourself.
When I started making the map I was not sure if this would be playable.
But after some hours of work (on a "savegame") ... the efforts are "mentally rewarding" ...
Main question is - how many "placeables" my PC can handle ...
Thank you for giving us the ground modification mod !!!

Re: WIP "inutile"
I'm so mad my PC crashed and I've been working for over a week and a half to get it back to working condition... I'll definitely be launching playing this map tomorrow it's the same one you've sent me, right?

What happened it? Overclock too high?
I literally haven't had time to play since getting the map either.

There has been an update ...Smith Modding wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 12:42 am I'm so mad my PC crashed and I've been working for over a week and a half to get it back to working condition... I'll definitely be launching playing this map tomorrow it's the same one you've sent me, right?
Sending you a link in a PM!
With this map you only have the pick up and the possibility to take a loan, to balance that all fields are "free"(depending on how much plowing you are prepared to do).
If you want a "head start" there is a savegame in the drop box folder with some progress (vanilla game).
But the idea is "players choice" ... so if you want to be creative you should play it from scratch (possibly cheat some extra money in to the game, if you do not like the idea to lease equipment) ...
The "mod folder" in the drop box folder is the mods I use for MP-testing (this folder also includes the map).
You will need this if you want to join me in a MP-session.
The savegame for MP (at this time only available when I am online) has lots of extra trees and placeables, saw mills etc, and looks a lot different from how it looks from scratch.
But when I was playing this yesterday, I found an issue with one of the main features for this concept.
The "roller" (Lizard R 5000) is not resetting the ground to it´s original state.
I plowed an area with "rough dirt" and sowed grass ... expecting to be able to use the roller to clear some of the grass to create a road. This did not work as expected.
It only made the growth state of the grass revert 1 stage ...
Edit: (solution, plow/cultivate to get rid of grass and then use the roller to go back to rough dirt)
(Also a bit bummed that the ground modification mod is not working in MP) ...
If any one else wants to try this out ... let me know!

Re: WIP "inutile"
No Windows updated and then crashed and it took forever to get a recovery drive going and then it took 3 tries to get it installed as I got a broken install each time. I have bought a SSD to keep that from happening again

Most maps offer wide / easy to get around areas ...
This map, as most objects are placed "in game", allows me to create a "driving challenge" (just the way I like it).
