ok i uploaded the map TombStone to modhud (base map made from (Estancia Lapacho) and all parts from Estancia Lapacho. apart from 3 parts i added

so map falls modhud testing ( ok 98% of the map is made from Estancia Lapacho . im thinking it will not to be bad . )
so how did i get this in fail notes

Please take a closer look to your materials and check all of them with the baseGame maps, by using notapad++
In your map are a lot of shaderFails, so try to find out how the shaders works, by control the baseGame shaders,
how customShaderVariation is needed, is alphaBlending needed, or not, with custommap is necessary for this shaderVariation and so on.

Estancia Lapacho is a map made by giants so parts from the map failed the test for modders maps

Do you think they may mean the shader variables instead of the shader xml’s. The variables are added into the i3d file and they do reference that. However, I don’t see why this would disqualify a map. Has their testing gotten more strict?

Was Tombstone built on the original day one release of Estancia Lapacho, or has it been using the updated version of the map Giants released only just recently? Maybe that could be why the shaders failed if you are using the old map version as the maps base.

hi there all :biggrin2:

well sometime a go i walked off into the sunset and dropped fs19 like a hot patoto. (i.e played fallout 76 and still playing it lol)

just a small list i got fed up with

1 on the gaint usa map (no power lines) as a mapper thats a big mess up and how did the map pass testing?
2 i made a map and put it up for testing on modhud .just to get told go off and fix the map. ( so getting told to fix gaint models i used . i do not think im going to do that.
3 if i use a giant model on a map then i'd like to see it pass the gaint modhud test for a start (and not to try to fix it my self)

ok now i can say
reuploaded tombstone to modhud
and converted 5 of my maps (now sitting on my hdd waiting to see if tombstone test (as im uploading one map at a time to modhud)) :hi:

I'm in the same position as you have been with the game. It's hard to put my finger on it but as another of your fellow modders put it something in the game feels off to some off us and the magic got lost somewhere for me. I still come back occasionally to see if its there and am excited to check your maps out as I've personally found them to be among the best for how I enjoy the game. A lot of people are loving the game so I can't say it's no good, but its not great for me. Thank you for taking the effort on your maps I'm looking forward to checking them out.
