hi there all

first off i'd like to say thank you all for the comments

map info time

1 the 2 trains now work ( the 3rd train i had to drop )
2 the map has 3 lime pick up points
3 sell points for the map all work (i only need to add one more to the map)
4 the 3 load points for the trains work
5 all map roads have traffic now
6 the town now have people walking a round
7 the 3 options to start the map all work
8 there a big flat part to make a farm and all animals in one spot if you wish and two more spots on the map if you wish to make 2 more farms( just to make life easy )

as asked earlier I am curious how you plan to do the 3 difficulty levels. I am actually curious how many map makers are going to approach this.

Thanks for the info! I'm also curious as to the above. Do you create a farm layout for new farmer and if so what happens to the layout in farm manager and start from scratch for people who may want to use the layout that exists. It makes a difference for those who will try and replicate real farms because the way the collisions are for placeables you cant place things exactly as they were. For example if you try and place the farmhouse on felsbrunn in the original spot it collides with I assume the tree there. I too am wondering how modders will deal with this.

this parts so cool on how it works

when you load the map in to the game

1 it loads the map 3di
2 then loads the xml's i.e (map_items) the part which are not on the map 3di

option 2. will not ( farmId )

yes i can add a big or small farm if i wish and the best thig is the player can sell it all in option 1. so he or she can make there farm

Hey soms2 I just had a random thought and it might be silly but you do some innovative stuff so i thought I'd. Mention it here. You did list the field sides in the thread so I can copy that but is there anyway to create a sign in a shop or on the farm somewhere with all the field sizes listed? Then when were planning for seeding or lime or w/e we can figure how much we need based on consumption per ha. Greatly looking forward to seeing this map in person.

hi there all

well its update on the map time

list of things i still need todo

1 add road signs
2 add water if i get it to work
3 add 3 more buy farmland parts
4 and last. i will give it a go on making a sign with field sizes ( Preble 818 )

as you all no by now i like the out of the box things on a maps

ps im going to try and get a seed triger to work on the map as well

im try to get map finished by friday is week ( 7th )
then give it a test over the weekend and then upload to modhud on the ( 10th ) if all go's well :biggrin2:
