Pause menu won't pop up

I'm playing farming simulator 17 on Xbox one, all of a sudden when I press start my pause menu won't pop up, and neither will the store when I press select. Anybody else encountering this issue?

Did you just try and do a contract on a field that didn’t work properly by any chance?
