Are you still excited for Claas?

It's nice to see a new brand and what not but I would be way more excited if I knew they would allow the US version onto consoles or not. My neighbor has a Lexion black and yellow and it's a beast....I would use the dlc alot more

The problem is Claas doesnt make the Black&Yellow combines anymore. They switched to the original colors and want to sell them like that, because of tradition and stuff. The CEO of claas mentioned that was the wish of the founder of Claas, that all the machines they sell would be in this color scheme.
And why we wont se Black&yellow? Because manufacturers always want to present the lates and the best. And as said numerous times, their new approach is to market combines in traditional claas color scheme in US market, as they dont have anything with the Caterpillar as a company anymore (thats why the lexions were black/yellow, because they had CAT engines).

I know that they look "cool" and stuff in the black yellow, but I would not expect that colors in DLC unfortunately.

I'm aware of all this lol I was meaning the modders hopefully are allowed to.

If you talk about modders then should not be a problem I guess. But they will need their own lexion model as the edditing of DLC content is not possible.

Cant wait to get my hands on the Xerion 4000. Always loved the Xerion’s and especially the sound they make.

This was back when custom shared giants announcement. I mentioned hopefully they can bring one of the lexions as a US addition and they responded as they would try

Custom Modding has a huge list of things they are working on going by the internet rumors.

Oh you should see one of their updates, the list is huge, so many in fact they've had to queue some away until they finish the 3-4 they are working on now.

Right, they are not working on it yet. They only mentioned in a comment on Facebook that they would try. When? I don't know, maybe after the dlc obviously, and when they get their list shorter

Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for what Custom Modding bring to the game considering before the 8r came out, they had no interest in doing console. And I'm assuming they do modding as just a side hobby, I don't really expect a huge amount of items to get released being as we see on the console side of things only 1 every couple months. I'm not saying this as a dig. I'm just saying for the fandom to be realistic and thankful for what we get when we get it.

In my personal history of doing requests for people, I try to please everyone, saying, "Yeah, I'll try and do that as well" only to get overwhelmed and frustrated and start to get bitter because nobody is ever happy because they want MORE MORE MORE. I get that people want a Lexion in CAT colors, but at the same time, if it comes, it comes. Don't badger modders for it. And I'm not saying that anyone has in this thread, but to say so and so is doing this, when they never said so, could cause modders to just say, "Later, I'm out of here, I'll make private stuff from now on."

In fs17 they didn't because the mods they did had lots of scripts. In fs19 thenrules changed and in Septemeber last year they announced mods for console

I thought this thread was about the dlc, not custom modding only joking.. on a serious note.. Idk if "excited" is right for me.. im always open to an expansion of equipment, especially in the form of dlc.. but im not wetting myself over it lol.. although ive only ever played with larger class stuff in the game (no one really seems to mod really small class tractors that I know of) so im looking forward to adding the ARION tractor as my work horse on the farm.. possibly the DOMINATOR 108.. at 5.1m on the header, it would be a nice lil upgrade from the bizon
