FS19 System spec requirements.

Post by Eggski »

There are a few posts on requirement specs and the specs are easy to find but in real terms how much harder is FS19 going to run a machine compared to FS17?

Like me some will look at specs and simply just see numbers, I couldnt tell you how much difference one spec is to another, I could build you a house from scratch or run a real farm but know nothing about computer speeds.

Is the new engine going to take care of some of the graffics improvements? Or is it a case that its been pushed further out of the reaches of most PC's?

The FS series of games has never been particularly taxing graphically. I am sure Giants have not raised the bar too far. not good for sales given the casual nature of the game.

If in doubt you could search for "Can you run it" and see if your system is okay.

as long as you can match a ps4, on spec, you are fine .add some ram and you are stable. (windows kills some ram)

Hello farmers! I've got a question about fs2019 and my PC... because is a weak PC :( Is a laptop, it has GPU Nvidia 820M 2 gb, DDR3, directx 11 compatible; Core i5 4210U 1.7 ghz - 2.4 ghz; 4 gb RAM. So could I run farming 19? Is my favorit game since fs2013...

welll...according to published specs, you should be fine. What they are really saying is you can run the game in the lowest graphics settings with that equipment. most laptops have smaller screens and the panels are not great to begin with, so this is not such an issue.

It's an "integrated" graphics chip built onto your laptop's motherboard, as opposed to a separate graphics card. You can google it and get some idea of its performance.

This is the same integrated graphics my desktop runs and I run 17 on low at 30fps. If I put alot of stuff close together I get fps drops. I plan on going to something in the area of a gt730 4gb for FS19 seems to be best I can get for under $100 US.

Don't be fooled by the 4gb bit because I remember seen that card before I bought mine and iirc the performance is shocking.

I also noticed it is lacking a 32 bit PC version in the details which I was expecting since FS 17 Giants Editor was only available in 64 bit version
Platform: PC

This laptop runs the game fine, but the graphics card must be lacking cause it's always cloudy or overcast looking on felsbrum, game looks much better on my ps4,how much trouble would it be to put a decent graphics card in a new laptop?

It is about as close to impossible as it can get without being literally impossible. And, assuming you even knew which parts you needed to order from the laptop manufacturer, it would almost certainly be cheaper to buy a new, better laptop.
