There are events that we expect to be shown.

Post by faruk9154 »

There are events that are said to be the future and are not shown yet. Such as rain wiper and wear and tear... When will they be shown? Only 9 days left. It is not clear whether they will come or not. :confusednew: We waiting for certainty.

We'll most likely find out those more nitty gritty details during streaming week. I'm sure they have saved some surprises for the week ahead.

The best surprise would be to release a week early.

The stream I watched didn't show anything that looked new to me from what I have seen. The chap in the ball cap sounded confused. I sure hope they share more than what they're showing. Its as if giants was trying to hide that FS19 may be a improved version of FS17.

Edit by Guil, don't be so rude.

Theres a lot that's new from 17. Maybe nothing that we hadn't heard yet for fs19. But still good to see some of the new features in action. I'm pumped. I don't care if it is an improved version of 17. That's what most of us have come to expect. But the improvements are usually good ones and the game is always better than the last.

The lack of a "story" in the FS series makes it seem like a previous version updated.. and honestly.. it is.. but so r other games. Take GTA for example.. its the same game as the previous version(s) in terms of engine and overall capabilities.. but its been polished with updated graphics, features and performance tweeks. the only real difference between games like that and farming sim is the lack of a story. Looking thru the past releases in farming simulator its pretty clear that they always deliver on a nice balance of big and small changes to the game making everything smoother and more realistic with additional features each time. But from where I am sitting they r not failing to deliver on their promise. I came from fs15 to 17 and while it may have seemed like an updated version of the same game, after playing fs17 for a month I couldn't stand 15. The changes didn't really seem like much on paper but it literally made the game vastly better than the previous edition. I am honestly not really sure what people expect out of the next edition. A whole new game from the engine up? Because even among AAA titles that's something that rarely ever happens.

We have 6 days ahead. There's still hope. These features are still likely to come. They didn't show everything in the pre-release videos.
