FS19 engine sound ...

I don't know if anybody already posted this, but here is a temporary fix for the zoom-volume in vehicles:

1. Navigate to Farming Simulator 19\data\sounds
2. Open soundTemplates.xml with Notepad++ (or default notepad)
3. Find this section in the xml file:

<modifier type="COMBINE_LOAD" value="1.00" modifiedValue="0.90" />

<modifier type="MOWER_LOAD" value="0.00" modifiedValue="1.00" />
<modifier type="MOWER_LOAD" value="1.00" modifiedValue="0.90" />
</pitch>
<lowpassGain indoor="0.5" outdoor="1.0" />
</template>

4. Change the value outerRadius="80.0" to your desired amount. I changed it to "200"
5. Save the xml

Multiplayer probably won't work when you edit this file though, which is a shame. But it's still a fix.

I was in my friend who sadly preorder this game we change volume indoor="0.25" to volume indoor="0.50" and outerRadius="80.0" to outerRadius="160.0" and its nearly perfect.

Giants put that setting on next update or give peoples setting for indoor and outdoor volume!

For me the engine sound don't sound as good as FS17, there is really no engine load sounds. It just doesn't sound as good as FS17 to me

It's not just the sound. The physics were much better in FS17 as well, especially with forestry.

Yes, some tractors sound very digitized or sound if they are clipping/deforming as if the recording levels were too high.
The other thing which sometimes happens is that the sound starts to reverberate, I had this happen on the FIat tractor last night when switching from the indoor camera to the outside one, not sure what is causing it but it stays that way on that tractor until I restart the game...all other tractor sound were unaffected.

Example, Just no engine load like you would hear in FS17 , There is a big load on pulling the wheels off the ground and it sounds like it's pulling nothing.

Just checked out the mod, Wow Now that is nice. So it is possible to get some good sounds in FS19

Seriously?

Must be something wrong with my sound ... all I am hearing is "sowing machines" when I press the gas pedal!
...

In cabin I need to crank the volume up to be able to hear if I have my indicators turned on ... and outside I need to get really close (zoom out and it goes dead silent).

This big contrast in the engine sound volume is driving me nuts!

I can't even play it any more because of the sound going so low when u zoom out and if radio is on that doesn't get lower so then when zoomed out u can hear nothing but the radio blaring and that's down to the lowest setting for radio

Hi I tried this bit didn't seem to make any difference is it possible to have zoomed in and out the same volume with this edit thanks
