Is doing contracts pointless?
Re: Is doing contracts pointless?
A function I would like them to add is the possibility to use our own equipement AND leased equipment.
Example :
I already own a tractor + trailer
I only need to lease the Harvester for the job
Lease cost is lower, because I don't need to lease everything.

you can use your own equipement AND leased equipment.

I know, but it doesn't change the leasing cost.

Re: Is doing contracts pointless?
oh I got ya! yep that would be great only lease what you need because you have everything else.
Re: Is doing contracts pointless?
Yes! This would be amazing. It might make things complicated in the menu though.

How about they increase the reward of the mission, but make the leasing cost what it already is in the shop. That way you could use your own equipment and/or lease what you need additionaly. This, I think, would also make using your own equipment much more valuable.

Fenix... I started a weeding contract using the "leased" equipment(contract provided) just because it was an actual weeder(the new 15m one) that I haven't used before, but it was a big field and I got tired of it and wanted to move on to something else so I put the worker in "leased" equipment. I then jumped in my own tractor with sprayer and wanted to start from the other side of the field and it would not let me. kept getting the no access message.

Strange. I haven't even seen a weeding contract pop up. I do have weeds turned on.

Re: Is doing contracts pointless?
Why don't you lease the harvester from the shop directly then? In the contract don't lease anything, since you already have all of the equipment and you are using both leased and owned equipment.
Re: Is doing contracts pointless?
Well as an example. I have a contract for field 8. To lease a Case 9240, header, semi and trailer would take $4674 off the reward of $25708. Just to lease the combine from the store is $36600.

The main change I would like now is the ability to have multiple contracts running at the same time.
Then I would really be earning money

Re: Is doing contracts pointless?
It isn't pointless if you want the trophies.
Re: Is doing contracts pointless?
I got that achievement already. 100 percent
Re: Is doing contracts pointless?
I didn't realise that there was such a disparity between leasing from a contract and leasing from a store. That's a bug thenRbk_3 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 10:23 pmWell as an example.
