Can someone please explain how to use silage?

I've made a bunch of silage bales and taken them to the Biogas Plant and tossed them in the big dumpster looking container and they disappeared, but I didn't get anything. Is this not where you sell them? What happened to the silage bales I put in there?

Biogas plant pays at midnight every night, so anything you put in you will receive the money in the evening.

Does anyone know if digestate is still in game or is it replaced by the lime, no one seems to be showing getting digestate from the biogas plant?

I believe you only get the digestate if you own the biogas plant... at least that's what I've read on here

That would appear to be the case, as well as using the silos there to make the silage.

It's just that it pays you on midnight. Perhaps they'll fix it after a patch.
I haven't personally tried yet, but I will today and report back.
