Who designed the auto save, because they are stupid. Why do I have to go into the menu for it to auto save? Doesn’t seem very automatic to me. Fire whoever did it please.

I guess they figured you would have to be going into the menu every 15 , 10, or 5 minutes anyway.

Sounds like the auto save is missing the auto.

Since there is only one save file, I find auto-save very unpleasant.
Cause if I did something in the game that I regret, I like to be able to quit and reload the last (and only) save file.

How you gonna quit though?!
You can’t go into the menu cause it’ll overwrite that one and only save file!

I guess you’d have to force quit the application.

So why aren’t there multiple save files like in any other game out there?

i just keep it turned off.. i know that's not feasible for console users with the crashing problems but yea.. if i screw up in epic fashion i like to just be able to quit and come back to it.. ive gotten used to saving periodically anyway.. plus i don't like it saving every time i open the menu.. gets on my nerves lol

It does get annoying.

I also save every time before I sell or buy something. Just in case I’ll regret it

I agree that having multiple saves within a career slot would be very useful.

Did you know that there are backup saves made in the folder that contains the save files? Documents -> My Games -> FarmingSimulator19 -> savegameBackup. This folder keeps copies of your saves in each slot going back a little while - I'm not sure what the limit is, I think around a dozen. So if you do accidentally save after making a mistake, you can grab a prior save and copy it over to the active save file.

It's not nearly as useful as multiple permanent save points, but you might find a need for it at some point.

Gen 1 PS4 and no game crashes. only problem I had was on the 20th was loading the game to play that night and it kicked me off before the game loaded. no problems since then. well Wi-Fi problems haha have 95 hours playing...
