Will repair times be dependent on the season length that you choose? If you play with 9 days per season, it should require less repairs than if you choose 3 day seasons.reallogger wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 10:28 am
Repair times are being reworked in Seasons. It will be something between Seasons17 and vanilla19. Meaning nominal repair time is 30 hour use (real time), but vanilla multipliers apply so it is more damaging to work in the fields than to drive on the road.

No. Repair time is dependent on use not season length. So if you use a tractor for 30 hours on one season length or the other does not matter.

The rotting of straw/grass is great for performance, as its removes smal bits you miss and such. Can the same be applied to small wwood bits, lets say those containing under 50 liters of wood?

Is there a list of planned features or some sort of feature roadmap (include a GPS option? etc etc), tried to look thru the thread here but either I'm blind (quite possible) or there isnt one.

@crash: yes see how that would be useful. Don't see how smth like that could easily be implemented though.
@VonArens: We have not published a planned features list as this would put unnecessary pressure on something that is a hobby for us.

How does the game handle cut down trees? Can it be found in the save game folder?

But it would be quite practical, since this thread is getting very long, that someone listed up the features already confirmed by RMreallogger wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2019 10:57 pm @crash: yes see how that would be useful. Don't see how smth like that could easily be implemented though.

@crash: cut trees are stored in the splitshapes file
@JohnDeere77: Indeed that would be very useful. Volunteers for going through the 48 pages here?

Re: Seasons 19 WIP Updates (Unknown Release Date)
Are you guys going to be implementing the Grazing Animals Mod into seasons or will you be converting it separately? You guys have said modding is a hobby, I'm curious can you ballpark figure how many hours a week you guys spend on it? If you don't that's fine. Thanks though for coming up with the idea of seasons and implementing it, it really makes the game a lot more fun.
Re: Seasons 19 WIP Updates (Unknown Release Date)
Grazing has been integrated into Seasons and does not need any map changes. It will automatically detect the grass planted by the animal pens.
Re: Seasons 19 WIP Updates (Unknown Release Date)
^^^so no more feeding grass? Even on console?
Re: Seasons 19 WIP Updates (Unknown Release Date)
That's probably a wrong conclusion, the pens dont seem to have enough grass to feed their maximum number of animals
