If you wait that long then the weeds will mature so a mechanical weeder won’t help anyway.

I would also say that perhaps many of you guys should just wait and see and try it out for yourselves when the mod is released. Exploring and figuring out how things work should be part of the experience. 😃

Not that, but since it is not preemptive I have to go over the field noumerous times a year. If I spray the whole field I only have to do it once and if there is enough weeds the helper can do it... if I only have a few patches I have to do it myself

So what sort of time frame are you hoping to have seasons out by for all platforms after initial pc release? With the announcement of lone Oak and being seasons ready I've put farming on hold as this mod is much needed. Huge thanks in advance

When it`s ready...
Question was asked 1000 times, and nobody is able to give a fixed date.

And what about a 3-step fertilization system from FS17? Will it be back or you stayed with vanilla 2-step?

They have said they have re-enabled the 3 step fertilization earlier in the thread.
The facts, although interesting, are irrelevant.

I wouldn't personally. Realistically, figure on it being several months before consoles see seasons.
FS22 is the best one yet. Fight me!

You have to remember this time Seasons was made with consoles in mind this time so it wont take as long. Im saying a month or less after all the bugs are gone.

No No.
Our best guess would be November.

Yes it will.

I am just wondering how well the helpers work with weeder, if there only few patches on the field :hmm:
They won't like it. They stop once a weed patch finished.

That's actually the reason the game has full field weeds.
So the whole weed system unless it is a full field has to be done manually. That’s only if you can get a full field of weeds
I guess if you run Courseplay, you can get the whole field done. But I´d rather do it manually to save fuel and avoid wear and tear.

Yes it is possible to have Geo mods that don’t grow certain crops. For example is FS17 the base Seasons Geo didn’t allow for Sugarcane growth. In fact aside from the Paraguay Geo I’m not aware of one that did allow for that. I suspect that it will be similar for cotton as that crop is pretty specialized in where it can be grown.
