Lol theSeb and NateS :) Seasons is way more than that, what's up?
Increased food consumption, animals not breeding the entire year, snow possibility, maintenance, all things that I like. But with the slower grow cycle it's too slow for me.

You mentioned "year", yet you expect crops to not grow like they do in a year? There is one toggle that is already a feature that I would suggest. Click on disable on Seasons when starting a new game.

I do not expect it, I wish I had the option to change it.

OlD MrD wrote: Sun Dec 02, 2018 11:27 pm Double planting was already possible in fs17. The mid west geo had growth setup so that you could double plant. *thumbsup*

Oh ! Missed that :confusednew:
I thought seasons itself wouldn’t allow harvest until Autumn. I apologies.
Tho I mostly play UK maps and weather geo so that’s my excuse :ubergeek:
Growth is fully configurable in the mod and based on the real growth life cycles of the areas we are trying to emulate. If planted early enough wheat/barley/canola would have been harvestable in late summer in FS 17 without any geo mods

That’s one if the features of seasons I like. Being able to plan when to plant what, knowing which would be ready and when.

The only issue I ever had with seasons was cows in the winter but that was more to do with the lone oak map. The manure on that map built up inside the cow shed, I had so many cows that I went in one morning to an absolute mountain of manure 😮😮😮😮

You do. Change the growth file so that if you plant in any period, crops will grow up to harvestable by the next period. Lower germination temperatures. You can even make it into a geo mod.

This is actually exactly why we released the geo "Snowy lands" very quickly after the mod was released. So that people could get their fix of snow that they seemingly so desperately wanted, instead of actually enjoying the entire mod.

Is there a chance to get all the Ewe's to lamb in the springtime?

That's exactly how it was in the previous version. Sheep birth rate = 0 for all seasons, except spring

I never noticed this feature! so if I had 50 Ewe's in the spring how many lambs would I get? the average would be about 60 to 70 lambs.
