Quick question, i don't know if this is the map makers feature or you guys can try to implement, but is there a way to tarp cotton bales and regular bales, or loose stuff?
Re: Seasons 19 WIP Updates (Unknown Release Date) features in first post
I'd imagine that would be a script but not sure.

It very could be, it would be like blanketing the silage bunker, it just wont ferment, you know?

I think I am correct in saying that seasons in 17 allowed you to wrap hay bales which stayed as hay and didn't change ferment into silage to allow for outdoor storage leaving only straw bales to store inside a shed.

Woah, seriously? You could wrap Hay Bales... I must of skipped that part of the manual . I always built a shed somewhere to keep them in.

Yeah but that was only possible because balers allowed the wrapping of hay bales. That was removed in fs19
Re: Seasons 19 WIP Updates (Unknown Release Date) features in first post
When 17 was in its prime, i played The Valley The Old Farm, and they had a silage bunker at the pig pasture, and i was thinking, it would be cool to cover up so your stuff wont get wet, you'd uncover it, take what you need, cover it back up, as i said, it'll be like fermenting silage, just without the fermenting stage. If it is awesome, id love to see it, if not its ok, somethings can/cant be done.
Re: Seasons 19 WIP Updates (Unknown Release Date) features in first post
Something like that can be done for a map with scripts, or a placeable mod with scripts.

Ha - I seriously never even thought about wrapping a hay bale , had no idea it was possible. But, I always had under shelter anyway. Stayed a head of my game with Seasons.
Sheep: Built the Hay Shed near by - Grass Field for Sheep: Mow > Ted > Rake > Collect > Store in Hay Shed > Use Tipper to Feed
Cows:
Mow > Rake > Wrap > Store in Shed near cows.
Mow > Ted > Rake > Bale > Store in Shed near cows.
Also kept straw bales there for bedding and TMR Production.
_____
Also for the cows... I had a "small" grass field. Mow > Rake > Collect.
Make a grass pile as well in the shed. Mowed that field just once a year, in summer. Let it slowly rot away. But, while it lasted I'd give the cows grass utilizing my telehandler or wheel loader.

Does that rely on scripts or could that come to console as well?Rahkiin wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 9:18 amYeah sure, shouldn't be an issueGothicKing13 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2019 8:38 am If I may ask a quick question for Realismus. With hay wrapping not part of fs19 base, would this be possible to implement? On my family sheep farm, we've always done haylage (wrapped hay) since it has a higher dry matter than regular silage. Cheers
