Not a total waste I enjoyed the heck out of using it and learning new ways of farming where I had to pay attention to how damp the ground was before rolling out on the field if I wanted to maintain a lightly compacted seed bed for my crops.

Yeah, had some fun development hours in that mod. Sadly no actual soil benefits for air pressure to simulate anymore.
But that does not mean we have nothing todo besides that mod haha.

Regarding the weather in the video:
We have created a new weather sound system that bases its sounds on wind speed, rain intensity, hail intensity and storm intensity. So you can now hear the wind proper, together with hearing the rain. Also we added storms which are just visual but add nice thunder sounds and lightning. Gives a nice variation.
The trees should be waving, that's a bug we're working on fixing

I personally like the twilight before sunrise and after sunset the most. And the weather of course.
