Hi all.
Where is the best place to build a farm on Felsbrunn?
I made a video about few of them but not sure if there are any better locations.

Any ideas?
Thank you all!

I like the original spot for arable farming and pigs, southwest by the coast for horses(theres a horse barn there), and northeast on top of the mountain for cows and sheep. Haven't played really this way but I did place all the stuff on my test map and got it looking really good.
Playing on PS5 in Ohio, USA.

Have to admit I do like the original spot. Nice flat area with a nice flat field behind, good variety of field sizes around you so you can expand whichever way suits your playstyle.
Feels nicely located for most sell points/store etc too. I currently have a few of the vehicle sheds, a farmhouse and a grain silo set up nicely there with a sheep enclosure just behind.

I have seen a few on YouTube where they are on the mountain by the sawmill. It looks a fantastic spot as it’s nice and open. And flat too. I am just too lazy to travel that far with everything as everything is a long drive away 🥴

Anybody tried to plow the beach yet for some seaside farming in Ravenport?

That's where I started on the "start from scratch" save I started today. Field 1 & 2 are pretty flat so it's a nice spot for the base of operations. My plans are to eventually buy fields 4 &5 on the other side of the river and use it for my livestock.Rasping rabbit wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 12:53 am I have seen a few on YouTube where they are on the mountain by the sawmill. It did take awhile to get everything up there though, kind of reminds me of living in the country where when you run to the store you better make sure you get everything on the list.

My main motivator is to find a "better" place since now we do have an option to move farms. Looks like Giants wants us to stick to the original starting position.
I myself tend to agree as I tens to not overspread and focus on one animal type and only few crop types per map.
Like I mention in the video, the most beautiful spot but so far away that one wonders if it's worth it!
Maybe in the end when I retire I will just buy a house there and take my favorite tractor and my dog there.

I totally agree! Going up and down the mountain is amazing for the first 10 times. But get's boring fast.Rasping rabbit wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 12:53 am I am just too lazy to travel that far with everything as everything is a long drive away 🥴
I tend to forget that one important thing and angrily have to back to the store.Stonecutter wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 2:25 amThat's where I started on the "start from scratch" save I started today.
